BRIAN BEVELANDER
This disc illustrates the imaginative capacities and scope of compositional output of the American composer, Brian Bevelander, as reflected in these selected orchestral, chamber, electro acoustical and solo works. Fine performances by the Toledo Symphony Orchestra with Frederico Cortese, conductor; Mezzo-soprano, Renée Clair; saxophonist, Matthew James, and the composer/pianist are captured with stellar mastering by the engineer, Mark Bunce. Recordings took place at: the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle, McIntosh Theater – University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; Ohl Concert Hall, at Heidelberg University, and WOU in Athens, Ohio.
