HORN DUETS
Andrew Lewinter & Lauren Hammock
Andrew Lewinter has been the principal hornist of the Florida Philharmonic since 1988 and professor of horn at the University of Miami since 1994. He was previously the principal hornist of the Santa Fe Opera and a member of the Florida Orchestra. In 1992 Mr. Lewinter was awarded the silver medal at the Prague Spring International Music Competition in Prague, Czech Republic.
Lauren Hammock was the principal hornist of the Florida West Coast Symphony and Florida Brass Quintet from 1988-1991, and was a member of the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra from 1991-1992. She is currently a physician.
