Megumi Takeshita, Marimba
Yoko Fujino, Piano


Megumi Takeshita graduated from the music department at Toho Women's High School, and completed her Bachelor's and Master of Music degrees at Toho Gakuen Conservatory of Music. She received the terebi-nishi-nippon award at the 42nd West Japan Introduction Recital for Young Musicians. Megumi studied marimba extensively with Keiko Abe, and also with Michael Udow and Klaus Tresselt. Ms. Takeshita is a member of the Fukuoka Chamber Musician's Association.

Yoko Fujino graduated from the music department at Fukuoka Women's High School, and received her Bachelor's degree at Toho Gakuen Conservatory of Music. She received the Judge's award at the 42nd West Japan Introduction Recital for Youn Musicians. Yoko has studied with Shinko Takashima, Hiroko Suenaga, Kouichi Yasui, and Tsunemi Naraba. She is a part-time instructor at Fukuoka Conservatory of Music. Ms. Fujino is a member of the Fukuoka Chamber Musician's Association.
