Dr. John R. Locke and Dr. Kevin M. Geraldi with their fine UNCG Wind Ensemble (University of North Carolina – Greesnboro) along with guest conductor, Andrea E. Brown, have provided listeners with this fine recording, which melds new repertory for this ensemble medium including works by Joel Puckett and Monte Tubb along with most interesting and viable transcriptions of works by Stravinsky, Schoenberg, Bach and Denza. The sixty-five member ensemble performs with distinction with fine interpretations by the directors.
