Michael Udow distilled two melodies with the kind permission of the distinguished and highly respected Japanese composers, Mr. Mitshhide Saegusa (Herding Cattle and Mountain Witch) and  Mr. Yasushi Akutagawa (Swing…Buranko) and reshaped and wove them with  an ancient traditional Chinese melody The Unfinished Love of the Phoenix Princess, adding contrapuntal lines over, under, around, and through these themes.
